Course Description:

Embark on an in-depth study of the book of Hafith Ibn Kathir:

AL FUSUL FI SIRAT AR RASOOL

CHAPTERS FROM THE LIFE OF THE MESSENGER ‎ﷺ

This reading will be spread over four, 8 week terms, and will cover the life of the Messenger ‎ﷺ from his birth to his passing, along with an overview of his most significant characteristics and virtues.

    • Comprehensive Study of the Prophet’s Life – Study AL FUSUL FI SIRAT AR RASOOL - CHAPTERS FROM THE LIFE OF THE MESSENGER ‎ﷺ in its entirety.

    • Core Themes and Lessons – Explore the fundamental principles and key lessons derived from the life of the Prophet ‎ﷺ.

    • In-Depth Analysis – Examine the text thoroughly to understand its historical and spiritual significance.

    • Focus on the Prophet’s Battles – A key focus will be the military expeditions and battles of the Prophet ‎ﷺ, analysing their context, strategies, and impact.

    • Foundation Building – Establish a strong foundation for further studies in Seerah and broader Islamic sciences.

    • None Required – This course is open to all, regardless of prior knowledge.

  • Students who wish to receive a certificate of completion must successfully complete the following:

    • Four Exams - One Per Term: Assess your grasp of the course material through a final exam (Pass Mark: 80%).

  • To enrol in this course, students must be over 16 years old and have a good understanding of English.

  • Students must attend all classes. One absence is permitted, but multiple unexcused absences will result in expulsion from the course.
